When Ruth Freeman married Bob Johnston, they brought together two families, and the histories of both of those families. Both families have preserved much of their history, from a two way correspondence from his great grandparents to an early edition of a Barclay’s dictionary from the 1800’s from her ancestors.

They, and several members of these extended families, also made history, some consequential, all worth saving, something my family has been quite good at for generations. This website aims to be a repository for all sorts of historical documents from these families and their ancestors. Enjoy.
